That's pretty neat.
This Flow Trail Is INSANELY Good
Rocky Knob recently had their flagship flow trail re-done and it is so good! Me and Kyle headed out there to check it out and log some air miles. PB&J Trail is running the best I have ever seen! You definitely don't want to miss this trail if you are in the area.

RIDE ROCK CREEK 2024!!

Rock Creek is a bike park located in Zirconia North Carolina just 50 minutes outside of Asheville. I've only ridden here twice, once was on their opening day over a year ago, and the 2nd time was at collegiate nationals last fall. Does it live up to the hype? I think it does! Mountain Biking Technical Trails In FRESH SNOW!!!

The desire to ride in the snow was something I wanted to indulge in this winter season and thankfully a super-late snowfall meant I could make it happen! Although this is technically a spring snowfall it's still snow so who cares Instagram @Downhill_Jake

Riding A World-Famous Trail In Squamish BC!!
I got a trail in bent creek thats super technical need to review it
Bro you crazy no way would do that even at half that speed
This shit rips. I just bought one from Talaria to ride around with my son and his Razor MX650 in the trails in our backyard.
Dang if this gets 54 I don’t know anywhere else in the state that will get above 40 unless it’s at a DH park.
Steezy
🫡🤙
As transition would say “pumps bumps and jumps” is pbj, (there dirt jumper)
Was out there yesterday! Love the new pb&j
It's so good!
Cool series. Black Forest is still on the list for me. I was too green on my last visit, but I’m feeling spunky these days. I hope to see this series continue. Very entertaining!
This series will for sure be continuing! Glad to hear you enjoyed it 🤙🔥
Watching you guys ride it makes me think that I can clean all of it. Then I get out there... Maybe one day! Thanks for the video!
Glad you enjoyed it! You got this! 🔥🤙
I’ve been riding road bikes for few years. Tore my knee ligaments in motorcycle accident, still recovering. Just got a Stumpjumper Evo LTD. I never rode mountain bike downhill. I want to try Sugar mountain park, how difficult is it for someone never tried it?
They have a great green tail and a dedicated lift for a beginner area which is super cool. Sugar would be great for your first time. And if you're making the trip to sugar there is also beech MTN close by that also has a great green trail and their blue trails aren't as technical. I have a video on beech here: ruclips.net/video/_g8idh4ciQU/видео.htmlsi=JqRILhgg1Bz4VquN
so good to see people making more videos here
Rocky Knob is so sick 🤙
@@DownhillJake yeah Im so lucky its my local riding spot
Sick💯
😤🤙
Check out Stampede at Rock creek
I went out there not too long ago but I would definitely check it out again!
do powder keg / cannonball at shepard MTB park in Missouri
Noted 🫡
That is by far the gnarliest place I've ever ridden.
Great idea for a series.
Glad you think so!
You should check out farlow gap in Pisgah
Noted 🤙
don’t lol it sucks and they don’t maintain it so half the trail is gone
That trail looks sick!
It is!
I actually love this trail. It gives some bikeparks a run for their money when it comes to gnarliness.
Absolutely agree 👍
Sick bro!
Thanks man! 🤙
Nice riding! Subscribed man! I need to get out here asap! Looks sweet
Thanks man I really appreciate it! It's some great trails thats for sure!
Sugar Mountain looks terrible this year. Last year was better than this. I just got back from Beech Mountain a few days ago. It seems to be in a lot better shape.
Yeah opening day it was running pretty bad. Whenever they reopen next month I'm hoping it will be better. Looks like they are putting a lot of work in on their socials so fingers crossed!
Awesome! Is this at Truett?
No it isn't this is personal land sorry!
I cant wait until I save enough money to buy a YT bike. Don’t know which one, although I might not get it until winter.
Heck yeah man they are great bikes! Which ones you looking at?
@@DownhillJake depends on how much money I make this summer mowing lawns. I’m 12, but I have very long legs. Maybe a some sort of Capra with mixed wheels.
Nice fuckin job, Kyle.
Rediscovered this channel after like 3 years, still going strong, love to see it. Binging all the old stuff now.
Glad to have you back! 🤙
@@DownhillJake I remember you building that sketchy ass skinny from a fallen tree. Does that thing still exist?
Great video man!
I appreciate it! 🤙
"Finished" haha
It's never truly finished 😂😭
This trail looks sick! Beautiful rework on the jump and some clean looking berms! Good work!
Thanks man!
Can't wait to try Beech this season, its a little more than an hour from me. I tried suagr opening weekend but got rained out so maybe ill have to plan a two-for weekend
Coming up from Miami end of June with our crew. Thanks for the video
Be advised sugar is closed for June and reopen July 4th. Not sure why they do that but Beech MTN is open!
Beech looks to be the better choice right now. I just got back from Beech.
Jeeez, those trails look HELLA eroded from those storms compared to closing time last year. Thats wild.
They definitely are in need of some love 😬
Wow!! Beech had some great work done!! Its not just steep into rock death on every trail! Its like a proper bike park now!! I stopped going there 3 years ago because it was a complete mess! I wanna go back now!
I remember those days 😂 They hired Terratektrails a couple summers ago and now it's such a sick park
Kyle has my luck with bike problems
Oh man 😂
The riding out there looks awesome man your killing it out there
Appreciate it man! 🤙
Beech for riding with the boys and jump progression. Sugar for gnarly tech.
Agreed 🤘
Only been to beech. I was passing through from Pennsylvania. I liked beech. I think they need a few more trails.
A few more trails would be nice. But what they do have is running great right now
Do you prefer Beech or Sugar??
I’ve got 4600 miles on my sting mx4R , anybody out there have more than that?
Beech was running way better than sugar this weekend
No kidding, I was at beech on Saturday and it was so good. Going to have that video out soon
When do they close on June ? Was planning on riding June 6-9
Dang sadly they will be closed after this weekend until the first weekend of July. Not sure why they do this honestly but it happens every year. Beech MTN will be open though and their trails are running great!
@@DownhillJake gotcha, thanks man And you’re killing it 🤘
I would not survive those rocky trails on my fork, but otherwise this does look fun! The flow trails looked really cool.
What helmet do you use?
In this video I was using the Bell full 9 MTB helmet but I've switched to the new Bell full 10
Sickkkk! please take me next time you go to like kanuga or rock creek
Kylestrophic chaos But honestly guys, how far you're sending after that sketchy corner before the stepdown is amazing 🤘 I absolutely love watching you guys build and ride, totally can't wait to see what happens next on the property. I think those g's could be reduced if you make the bottom more gradual with a dozen shovels of nice packable dirt, but it also seems like there is a little mound/bump so getting rid of that so the bottom stays flat will also really help
you should do a trail map so we can get an idea of the trails
Great idea 🤙
What Sony do you have btw?
I have the A7iii. Works great only bad thing is I can't do more than 30fps in 4k so no crispy slow motion 😭
What should we name this trail??
Maybe name it after a Greek god or something, I always feel like that could make a good trail name, like “Zeus” or something, or maybe like fast and furious could work too but that’s a bit generic
No X Needed
I'm currently trying to learn how to do a Foot-Jam on my Mountain Bike.
Hey man what would you say is the most common suspension travel/type of bike to enjoy Jarrod's Place to the fullest? Probably 170/180 front 165ish rear like most in the enduro category I'm thinking?
Yeah I would agree with what you said. Any bike in the 160-180mm travel is perfect for this place. But I wouldn't hesitate to ride a 140mm trail bike here either! But yes, 160-180 is ideal 🤙
If you turned that into a racer kinda step down you could probably build an extremely tight 'bars almost in the ground' 360 vert berm and knock the bit out that you're going over into the rest of the trail and turn it into a droppy step down to get back the speed for the step up
Dang that sounds like a good idea, the trail is already connected (EP.8) but that's a great idea for another trail 🤘
